Prairie Council on Aging investigates reports of the abuse,
neglect or financial exploitation of older persons. We assist
seniors in Cass, Greene, Jersey, Morgan and Scott Counties.
We serve as an advocate for victims and work with abusers
to alleviate abuse. We also counsel older battered women.
Under the Elder Abuse section of the Illinois Crime Justice
Information Authorization grant, we offer intensive counseling,
support and advocacy for older victims of domestic violence.
